Location of Surface Collection Lots and Stratigraphic Units

The "raw" locational data for the collection lots represented by each surface collection, as well as the location of each stratigraphic excavation unit is provided as an AutoCAD (Release 12) .DXF file named MAP.DXF.

The layers in this drawing, their colors, and the information contained on each are as follows:

• COLLECTION_UNIT (Red): Closed AutoCAD polylines enclosing the areas represented by each of the individual collection lots.
• COLLECTION_TEXT (Yellow): AutoCAD text strings which correspond to the identification number provided in the tables of numeric data that deal with surface collections and shovel test probes. The insertion points of the text entities are inside the closed polylines delineating the collection unit they correspond to for AutoCAD or other programs capable of associating labels with polylines in this way.
• SITE_BOUNDARY (White): Closed AutoCAD polyline delimiting the collection area.
• TEST_UNITS (Cyan): AutoCAD text strings which correspond to the identification number provided in the tables of numeric data that deal with stratigraphic excavations. Their insertion points mark the location of stratigraphic excavation units.
