Soil Categories

The locations of the soil categories are provided in the file SOILCAT.DXF (see Langebaek 1995a, Fig. 3.4). The layers in this drawing and their contents are as follows:

• FRAME--a rectangle enclosing the Fúquene Project study area
• SURVBND--the actual boundary of the Fúquene Project study area
• SOILCAT--boundaries between soil categories within the Fúquene Project study area
• TEXT--text strings identifying the soil categories (very small to fit completely within each zone identified)
