Slope

A GIS raster layer of slopes created from the DEM is also provided here. It was created by reducing the resolution of the DEM from cells 10 m by 10 m to cells 100 m by 100 m. Slopes were calculated from this lower resolution image in order to generalize more broadly. The result was then resampled back to a resolution of cells 10 m by 10 m to match the other layers for analysis. The layer is provided in Idrisi (SLOPE-IDRISI.ZIP) and GeoTIFF (SLOPE-GEOTIFF.ZIP) formats. Cell values are in degrees.
